Prof.Dr. TAHSİN YAKUT

He completed his specialization training in Uludağ University, Faculty of Medicine, Medical Biology and Genetics. In 2006, she received the title of Associate Professor of Medical Genetics. He became Professor of Medical Genetics in 2012.
In 1998, he established "Prenatal diagnosis; prenatal genetic diagnosis methods" at Uludağ University. Between 2005-2016, he participated in Perinatology councils on Fetus evaluation.
In 2003, he worked at the "George August University - Max Planck Institute" in Germany, on the detection of genetic markers associated with the diagnosis, course and treatment of the disease in cancers. Later, she continued her research on these issues in our country. Currently, she continues her studies on the detection of genetic markers and drug interactions in "smart drug therapy in cancer patients". In addition, it provides laboratory and clinical services in the detection of familial cancers, genetic counseling and follow-up. He gave genetic diagnosis, clinical evaluation and genetic counseling to approximately fifteen thousand patients on Prenatal diagnosis, Cancer genetics and Clinical genetics. In 2004, he took part in the establishment of the Department of Medical Genetics at Uludag University.
In 2005, she received training and actively worked in the "Sher Institute" (Innova Medicine) in the United States on the selection of unhealthy embryos in IVF applications. Preimplantation genetic screening has served on approximately 2000 embryos to date. In this context, it has been providing genetic screening services in embryos to some centers abroad and in Turkey since 2008. On March 23, 2010, he received the "Board Certificate" in the field of Medical Genetics from the United States Ministry of Health, and his certificate was renewed in 2013.
In 2007, he conducted studies on the use of molecular cytogenetic diagnostic methods in Genetic Diseases at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in England. She gave speeches at various national and international congresses. Around 90 of his works have been published in prestigious international journals in his field. He founded "Uludağ University Genetic Diseases Diagnosis Center" in 2009, and served as the head of the diagnosis center until 2016. He organized the "National Genetics Congress with International Participation" in Bursa in 2012 and served as its President. He served as the Head of the Department of Medical Genetics between 2007-2016. He supervised the thesis of 6 medical specialization students. He served as a Board Member of the "Medical Genetics Association" in 2009-2016. He was the president of the Medical Genetics Association between 2011 and 2013. He worked as the Chief Physician of Uludag University Hospital between 2011-2014. He was a member of various Scientific Committees in the Ministry of Health. He attended various trainings on Medical Genetics in many centers in our country and gave trainings.
